Garmin Nuvi 3790T Review

WOW! That’s about all I can say about the new Garmin Nuvi 3790T 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator, recently released, and producing a flurry of incredible reviews in the tech press. So what is all the fuss about? Just another GPS release….or is it.

The Garmin 3790T is lining up to be the top selling GPS of this summer, with it’s slimline 9mm thick case, ability to be used in a horizontal or vertical plane, and advanced voice recognition functionality, this unit is going to give all the ‘rest’ a run for their money. And that’s before we discuss the 3790T’s ability to ‘learn’ from your regular journeys, and make changes to adapt to regular traffic disruptions.

And if you are a pedestrian, you are going to find that this GPS fits nicely in your hand in the vertical plane, and combined with the pedestrian and public transportation software that Garmin recently introduced, you are going to find this GPS great for people who walk rather than go by car. In fact, Garmin appear to be taking on the iPhone crowd with the 3790T. Put it in you hand, and it looks and feels like an iPhone.
